Given the mental health benefits of outdoor recreation and the rising rates of anxiety and depression, maybe it's time to look at the public benefit of welcoming visitors.

Love this. I am so weary of the tourists vs natives commentary and how “our sweet little town is being ruined.” We moved here in 2008 for the beauty of it because after 22 years active duty and 10 years as a defense contractor I have PTSD. This place brings be joy. And brings me closer than to God. I love to watch others enjoy my new home town.
