You can never pay someone else enough to replace a mother. And children, especially infants and small children were not meant to be warehoused. With the cost of childcare as is, it's hardly worth working if you have to pay to replace the mother.

I dont believe billions of dollars are lost in the economy if women dont work either. There are plenty of people out there who are just as available and not working. It's the downturn in the economy, and in brevard, there are no professional jobs outside of the hospital and maybe the college. Low paid jobs which cater to tourism, NO HOUSING but you can get a metal shed refurbished as a canin and get 1000 bucks a week. Nothing wrong with THAT, but there's something wrong with people not being able to get a home, only a vacation rental.

Brevard has gotten millions in federal grants, and I realize they must be spent on what they were dispersed for, but 40ish million for a nature trail from hendersonville? And the water plant is in serious need of repair?

Whomever is running brevard is consistently making decisions that cater to tourism and short term profiting. Never ling term business or jobs, and in general no projects or goals that make a town sustainable like homes for families, jobs, and good infrastructure. Hope everyone is enjoying that roundabout too.
